4. Apparently there has been speculation that this is a tragedy. It is not. It is definitely HE, but because of the elements of war and fighting for the country, angst is – as expected – unavoidable.

5. Though the author said the top is a yandere, he is really more protective and possessive than the textbook definition of a yandere, so if you don’t like yanderes you can stop worrying about that. But because he is a powerful and dangerous character, one could argue that he is a slight yandere.

Chang Geng, who had always lived in a far-away countryside village, would never have thought that his identity would be so absurd. His mother wasn’t his biological mother, his young deaf-blind yi fu became the widely worshipped Lord Anding, and he himself was somehow the lost fourth prince. Within one night, Chang Geng’s life had been completely changed, and could his yi fu “Shen Sixteen” – or, Gu Yun – still remain at his side to protect him…

Yet another one of Priest’s ambitious works, with smooth and seasoned writing style, intricate character design and development, as well as gripping plot. The novel cuts right in with the mystery of Chang Geng’s real identity, bringing the story to a small climax, and leaving the readers to wonder whether Chang Geng’s identity as prince is really true, and what exactly is the true face of “yi fu” Gu Yun. The story unfolds, and how would Chang Geng get along with Gu Yun leaves much to be expected of this novel indeed.
